There are 3 loop trails that run north to south: the lower, middle, and upper flume. On these trails you'll find rocky paths running through thick forests. Every once in a while you'll come to a meadow where the forests breaks a little, and you can get beautiful views of the surrounding area. This trail is not that secluded and you can usually see homes from it. <br />
This trail is multi-use so please share the trail with mountain bikers.
Drive to Breckenridge via hwy 9. Parking lot is just west of Hwy 9 on Valley Brook Rd. Ride across Hwy 9, up Highlands Drive about a 100 yds and look for the lower Flume trail sign on both sides of the street.
